Bhartiya Gramin Punarrachana Sanstha (BGPS), Mumbai College of Arts, Commerce and Science(MCACS) was established in the year 2004 by the Chairman Shri. J. K. Jadhav.

MCACS has completed 16 glorious years of its outstanding performance in higher education. It offers 3 years full-time under graduate programmes affiliated to University of Mumbai with an intake capacity of 540 students and offers 5 programs i.e. B.COM-240 seats , B.M.S.-60, BSC(IT)-120 , B.SC.(CS)-60 & B.SC. (BIOTECHNOLOGY)- 60. The College has well maintained infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms & computer lab, it has Wi-Fi enabled labs, updated laboratories and rich library resources which provides every opportunity for students to spend most of their time in campus. The campus is developed by its commitment to teach the students the core values, including integrity, honesty, personal accountability towards the society.

The college aims to churn out highly competent teaching professionals with a commitment to result oriented work, a perennial zest for learning, a quest for excellence, an open mind and the universal ideals of honesty, dignity and mutual care. Supporting to our success by a team of dynamic, skillful and resourceful faculty that creates a deep understanding of education.

Our faculty has made the classrooms at MCACS a special place where learning is an intense and interactive experience for our students. The experience goes beyond simply imparting skills, tools or knowledge. It also develops the foundation for a lifetime leadership in a challenging and rapidly changing business.

MCACS encourages students for participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for overall personality development of the students. Students are counseled on all academic and career related development through professional mentors. The college has always taken an initiative in uplifting the needy in terms of literacy, hygiene and social awareness through its CSR Cell and Community collaborations.

The College has various collaborations to improve the employability and job readiness of our students.
